Sensor development
Sensing element design, signal conditioning, calibration and bench characterisation. This is where the physical principle we investigate in research becomes a reliable, repeatable measurement.
Internal capability
We design, prototype and build our products in-house: the circuit, the board, the enclosure, the firmware, the app and the cloud. This page describes each of those stages and which products it goes into.
They serve our own portfolio, not on-demand development. With other organisations we work through joint R&D, open innovation and technology transfer — the three formats at the end of this page.

We produce our products' PCBs in-house through laser etching, which shortens the cycle between a design revision and a board under test, and keeps quality control inside the company.
Rapid prototyping of enclosures and parts with complex geometry, plus reverse engineering by millimetre-accurate scanning to fit equipment that is already installed.
Embedded firmware, telemetry, backend and apps are all developed by us. Each product reaches the user with its own management platform, not as an isolated sensor.
Where it is applied
Smart Fish Finder, Smart Flow Hall, Smart AI Dosage
Integrating our devices into real processes — control loops in water treatment plants and home systems designed for accessibility and autonomy.
Screening of new drug candidates, cytotoxicity evaluation, in vitro/in vivo activity and mechanism-of-action studies, focused on neglected diseases.
How we collaborate
We work with utilities, industry and universities in three formats, all aimed at advancing and validating our own technologies.
We develop alongside the people who run the process. That was the case in Compesa's Digital Waters programme, which took our AI dosing system to the Presidente Castelo Branco plant (3,000 L/s), and in the ongoing pilot at Sanepar, in Maringá, Brazil.
MSc and PhD candidates carry out their research inside the company through CNPq's MAI/DAI and RHAE programmes, producing knowledge applied directly to our product lines.
Our research fronts are supported by FINEP, including the Enabling Technologies line (2023) and the Innovative Women programme, which awarded our intelligent coagulant dosing project.
